About

Alexandra is A Toronto-based Artist working with a variety of pressed flowers, ferns, leaves, herbs and other botanicals to create Artwork in celebration of Nature's Beauty.
The creation of each piece involves many hours spent outdoors picking and pressing her materials- wildflowers, ferns, leaves, and herbs- followed by countless more in her studio where she transforms these botanicals into nature-inspired artwork
Through spending time among nature and creating with her blooms, Alexandra's intention is to deepen her own connection with the natural world and perhaps inspire others to do the same.
She believes that taking the time to notice the utter beauty of a single flower is enough to move someone into a state of awe and appreciation for Mother Earth which will translate into mad respect and passion for the wellbeing of this planet.
As we become increasingly disconnected from the natural world, Alexandra believes that reminding ourselves of nature's beauty is an imperative part of the movement surrounding environmental protection. People protect what they love, but only love what they're familiar with.
